Motor Car Claims Procedure & Guidelines

Report the Accident or Claim to SecurePrime immediately, within 24-hours!

A. IN CASE OF ACCIDENT (Own Damage) & THEFT OF CAR ACCESSORIES.

  • Report the accident to the nearest Police Officer or Police Station. Get the name & precinct assignment of the police officer.
  • Take your vehicle to any insurer's accredited motor shop for estimate.
  • Standard Requirement needed:
    1. 1. Copy of Driver's License & Official Receipt of both Parties

      2. Copy of Vehicle's Registration Certificate & Official Receipt of both Parties

      3. Copy of Police Report

      4. Affidavit, duly notarized

      5. Picture showing the damage vehicle

      6. Stencil of vehicle's motor & chassis nos

B. IN CASE OF AUTO PERSONAL ACCIDENT

  • Submit the following documents within 6-months from date of accident:
    1. 1. Police Report

      2. Copy of Driver's License & Official Receipt

      3. Copy of Registration Certificate & Official Receipt

      4. Original Medical Receipts

      5. Original Medical Certificate

C. IN CASE OF CARNAP

  • Submit the following documents:
    1. 1. Copy of Driver's License & Official Receipt

      2. Copy of Vehicle's Registration Certificate & Official Receipt

      3. Police Report

      4. Alarm Sheet (from PNP Anti-Car napping Unit)

      5. Complaint Sheet (from PNP Anti-Car napping Unit)

      6. Certificate of Non-Recovery (from PNP Anti-Car napping Unit after 90-days from date of loss)

D. IN CASE OF THIRD PARTY DEATH OR BODILY INJURY LOSSES

  • If there are injured persons, arrange for them to get Medical help immediately.
  • DO NOT admit liability.
  • An Adjuster will be appointed immediately to handle Third Party Claim.
  • Submit the following documents:
    1. 1. Police Report

      2. Copy of Driver's License & Official Receipt

      3. Copy of Registration Certificate & Official Receipt

      4. Affidavit, duly notarized

      5. Original Doctor's Medical Certificate

      6. Original Hospital Statement of Account/Bills

      7. Original Medical Invoices & Receipts

      8. Certified True Copy of Death Certificate

      9. Marriage Contract/Birth Contract (of deceased and/or children)

      10. Funeral & Burial Expenses Receipt

E. IN CASE OF THIRD PARTY PROPERTY DAMAGE LOSSES

  • Report the accident to the nearest Police Officer or Police Station. Get the name & precinct assignment of the police officer.
  • If the vehicle/s has to be moved because of traffic before a policement arrives, make a sketch and ask the other party to sign his agreement to the sketch.
  • DO NOT admit liability.
  • Submit the following documents for:
    1. a) Motor Vehicle

        1. Vehicle's OR and CR (Insured and Third Party)

        2. Driver's License and OR (Insured and Third Party)

        3. Police Report

        4. Affidavit, duly notarized

        5. Repair estimate (from insurer's motor shop)

        6. Photographs of damaged Third Party Vehicle

        7. Stencil of motor and chassis nos

        8. Certificate of No Claim from Third Party Insurance Company


      b) Other Than Motor Vehicle

        1. Police Report

        2. Insured's Driver's License and OR

        3. Insured's Vehicle OR and CR

        4. Evidence of Ownership of property damaged

        5. Photographs of property damaged

        6. Estimated value/repair cost of property damaged
